There's hardly anything I can add to all that has been expressed by our enraged nation for the coward, inhuman attack we have suffered in this day of infamy. Neverthless, like many of us, I need to express my anger and sorrow for this pointless waste of so many human lives. Being Italian I lived in terror for years when, in the '70s, Palestinian and Communist terrorists raided Italy and killed so many innocents. I know what it means to walk in the streets and think you might be killed at any time because some mindless fanatic has planted a bomb in your bank. Or in the bus stop. Or in the airport.
For years I thought that tha nightmare was over. Today I feel the old fears come back. As some said, this will not be over until we completely eradicate this evil from this planet. I cannot agree more.

In this dark day all my thoughts and prayers are for heroes and victims that died in this attack and to their families.
