Tip - tie a string to it that is long enough that you can tie it off to your handlebar or riser when you need to use it. When you do that, getting back on the bike and retrival is easy - 1) sit on bike, put kickstand up; 2) grab sting and pull up the foot; 3) wrap the string around the foot and secure it in windshield pouch - if putting it in pocket, untie it from the handlebar before wrapping string around it.
