These flat-backed bags with recessed front corners for axle clearance are made of reinforced fiberglass and covered with our high quality expanded vinyl. The 103 Pony Express is one of the original Leatherworks saddlebags. It features the pony express flap style lid and works great on the smaller bikes or for those looking for a small bag. Can be made zipper detachable with a yoke or as a bolt-on - which will then work with a docking system (like the EDGE or easy bracket) or use a direct bolt-on kit to mount to the strut/fender/support. On some motorcycles the turn signals may need to be relocated - usually to the license plate. Bags are crafted and handmade in USA. Usually in stock, but can occasionally be backordered up to 2-4 weeks since quality can't be rushed.

Construction: The leather is 10-11oz good quality and very firm. Designed to retain shape and last many years. The wide tops of the bags are reinforced with plastic since it's common to strap items to the bag tops.  The backs of the bags are made from conveyor belt rubber reinforced with ABS plastic, so the back is hard and rigid. Since they are handmade, the dimensions can vary from the stated measurement by .28-.5".  The measurements are the longest or widest measurement.
