"Greetings all. Retired Navy (1998); Blue, Green & Brown Water Navy(s)... Been around the world 3 times... talked to everyone at least twice :) Combat Vet in middle east, the Balkins and Central/South America. Did alot of riding before the Navy (Motorcross) and friends/family bikes since then for past 20 years. My first V Twin Cruiser was 2002 Yamaha MidNight Star. Bought it used (yeah, the Mrs. thought $14100 for a 2004 Midnight Star was too much for a "toy")in 03/2004 with alot of chrome and accessories. 10/2007 with 300 miles shy of 74,000 miles, a cager cut across 4 lanes of traffic and myself... ditched the bike in the asphalt to avoid the T-Bone - Airborne Flight of the rider. In 11/2007, bought a brand new 2007 Midnight Silverado! the 2002 was a great bike.. the 2007 is even better! I believe I heard somebody said it best...... it's a Bike or a Shrink! (or something like that).. My sentiments exactly :) You don't stop riding because you get old.... You Get Old because you stopped riding!"
